Clean and tidy
Not at all impressed that I paid for 2 adults and children in a family room (at full rate) to find that a family room had a single bed and double bed. My children are 10 and 12 and where expected to share a single bed. Needless to say we spent our 2 night stay swapping beds and got very little sleep. It ended up with myself and my 2 children sleeping sideways on a double bed. I have stayed in many bed and breakfasts in Blackpool and this is the first time I have ever had a room like this. This could be easily solved by replacing the single bed with bunk beds. I also was not made aware that a £2 card charge is applied each time a card is used (for a deposit and final payment). The shower in our room only worked when the main switch was switched to half way.

When I booked the accommodation I requested a family room, there was no mention that my 9 year old and 6 year old (girl and boy) would have to share a bed. I was told I could purchase and extra bed for £4 Pure greed! We was not also told that one of the rooms was NOT ensuite. I have never been to a hotel where you pre order your breakfast requirement on check in! Very poor and definately below standard. I wished I had have booked the travel lodge now as we were very very tired from swapping beds with my kids throughout the night. I think this would be the last time I gave local hoteliers a chance!!

This is the perfect location for those wishing to be centrally situated for all that Blackpool has to offer. The welcome from the landlady was warm and friendly and she knocks together a fine breakfast! The room met my expectations and was on the small side which is typical for single rooms anywhere generally. The guesthouse is clean-no complaints there. It was nice to note the absence of a list of rules and regulations of what guests can and cannot do within the guesthouse-an all too familiar feature of Blackpool guesthouses. No one wants to be treated like they've just checked into a boarding school!I recommend this guesthouse unreservedly.

Small very friendly guest house in very convenient location just 5 minutes walk from Blackpool Tower. Very easy to get to by car with off street parking in front of the guest house. Landlady is very helpful and approachable.
Family rooms above the dining room are quite small with limited room to store clothes, but fine for a couple of nights.

An exceptianal place to stay. Pam made my husband and i most welcome, and my parents when they came along to have a look at the property, as they may also have a weekend break there. Excellent room, very beautiful decor, and wonderful cooked breakfasts. will definatley be going back there again for a long weekend break. highly recommended to all.

Excellent guest house! The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking care of our luggage and allowing us to check in early. The hotel itself was lovely, with nicely-furnished living and dining rooms, and the bedrooms themselves were better than could have been expected, with tasteful decor and an extremely comfortable bed. Fully-working shower, sufficient en suite. The hotel is two minutes from the Tower, but is clearly superior to the vast majority of other hotels, of which there are a million. They all look very similar on the outside, but if you're looking to step into a home away from home at a competitive price, this is the place! And yes, would recommend to a friend.
No shower gel or shampoo. But still stay here. Just bring them with you.

Nice and close to the front, good breakfast, helpfull.
rooms a bit small...ish, could do with walls being a bit more sound proof, could hear people having conversations next door.

This is a lovely guest house run by a very friendly and welcoming lady called Pam. The Guest House is 5 minutes walk from the Tower and is very confortable and clean. The rooms were very well decorated and looked after and Pam was very accommodating. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and the dining room was very well presented. In all, I, my daughter and my friend thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend this guest house to visitors to Blackpool. We will definately be returning next year.
