I had the B&B recommended as a friendly venue of better quality than many of the other local venues. I wasn't disappointed. The venue is clean and well furnished and the owners (Steve and Elaine) are very very friendly and really helpful
The dining area is a little on the small side but this is a minor point.

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel over a 3 year period and it still does not disappoint, I do not look anywhere else in the area when making a yearly trip to blackpool. The staff cannot do enough to make you feel welcome, the service is great, food is good value and high quality, rooms are clean and outfitted to a high standard. I have heard some horror stories about hotels in this part of the world, this is not amongst them, highly highly recomended, I shall be going back next year.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel for our weekend in blackpool, the owners staright away gave us a nice and friendly welcome. The room we were given was beautifully decorated with all the neccessities needed. There was also a good selection when having breakfast. The location of the hotel was ideal with only a few minutes walk to the south pier and pleasure beach fair. And about 15 minutes walk to the other piers, shops and other attractions. Will certainly be booking again at this place, and would recommend it to others.

A very homely welcome from Steve & Elaine. Ultra modern decor throughout the hotel. Steve, was extremely knowledgable on all the local amenities of Blackpool, shows, restaurants, etc. All food was top quality and delicious, and evening meals were very well priced. Room very clean and comfortable. Beds where very warm and comfy. All in all a very highly recommended hotel, located on the best road in Blackpool.
None come to mind.

First of all the Hotel itself if absolutely amazing! Steve and Elaine are wonderful people and have really put a lot of effort into making their hotel as perfect as can be for anyone from couples to families. Me and my Boyfriend stayed there for a weekend and we enjoyed every minute, there wasn't a single problem with our stay and despite being close to both the pleasure beach and the town centre and the Blackpool Tower we were able to get parking and peace and quiet at night. The room was absolutely stunning! I saw the pictures of the rooms before we went there but i was overwhelmed with the beauty, cleanliness and design of the rooms. The bedroom was perfect, Steve and Elaine had even supplied several pillows to the bed which varied in texture allowing you to have a pillow that suited your needs. The rooms were decorated with full consideration to how your stay could be benefitted, from tiny details such as the coat hangers being both stylish and fitting the theme of the room while maintaining perfect functionality, such as being of a material texture to prevent clothes from slipping off. Such thoughtful considerations made our stay all the more perfect. Sleeping in the bed was a dream! It was a good size double and made you want to just lay in all day. The bathroom was wonderful and kept in immaculate condition and we really appreciated the little extras Steve and Elaine provided for us. The service was incredible, although we ddin't eat much breakfast ourselves what we did have was fantastic and it was really nice that Steve and Elaine provided such ample choice of food and always checked to make sure we had everything we wanted. The Arthington is a fantiastic hotel, it's beautiful and efficient and i love that it boasts one of the rare commodities that are often lost on most places, and that is that Steve and Elaine don't just run it as a business focused only on money making, they actually genuinely care for your needs and are incredibly considerate and kind people. It was a pleasure to meet them and their lovely dog! Overall The Arthington is the best hotel i've ever been to and it will always be my favourite! It really was perfect. 5*!
I really cannot think of any negativities to the Hotel. Although it could have done with a time-space vortex allowing us to stay there for longer! :D

We took our two grandchildren for a two night stay at the Arthington, we received a very warm wellcome on arrival. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was very nice, there was a very good choice for breakfast and the food was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble at this lovely hotel, best we have stayed at and will definately stay there again.

I’ve been going to Blackpool for numerous years and this as to be the best hotel we have stayed in. From the moment we arrived to be met by Steve and Elaine, we were made to feel welcome and so at home. The hotel is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and the food was excellent. Steve and Elaine are fabulous hosts; they really do go the extra mile to be helpful and welcoming. The location of this hotel is great too - a few yards from the sea and tram stops and on a quiet street. I cannot fault anything with this little gem of a hotel – We will be definitely back and have already recommended this to our friends and family. Thanks for a lovely weekend

Hotel was modern and relatively cheap for what we got. Also, very clean, friendly and food was lovely.
if i am being really picky...slightly noisey (internally) but nothing to worry about, rooms are relatively small, breakfast has a half hour slot

Came with my fiance and two friends with their young daughters. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Steve and offered tea and coffee and made to feel welcome. We were then introduced to his wife Elayn and one of the best dogs in the world, Tanya. The hotel from the outside is probably the smartest and most modern looking on the street, and this is continued inside. The bar is fresh and modern but with a warm and relaxing feel. The room my fiance and I stayed in was small but met it's needs. The bed was too comfortable tho so we struggled to drag ourselves up in the morning for breakfast. But it was worth it tho as there was a large choice all freshly cooked and made to order. On Easter morning we were even treated to Cadbury's Creme Eggs underneath the coffee cups. Bless them. The parking on the street could be better but there is a private car park on the next street which works out at good value at around £5 per day. When we return to Blackpool (hopefully for the illuminations) we will definately make a bee-line for The Arthington with no hesitations. Enjoy

My husband and I just enjoyed a two night stay at The Arthington and we could not fault it AT all. From the moment you arrive you feel like part of the family as Steve and Elaine are the perfect hosts and are very welcoming - they offered us a tea or coffee as we arrived, which we thought was a lovely gesture. The (premier) room was fantastic - beautifully decorated and clean with a great flat screen TV and even an iPod docking station!! Breakfast was brilliant - we both fully recommend the Full English cooked to order and I especially recommend 'The Arthington Snowfall' which is a gorgeous concoction of fresh yoghurt, fresh fruit and granola with the option of honey. Also, don't even hesitate staying in to eat as the food is delicious!! We sat in the bar on our last night and watched the TV with Steve, Elaine and Tanya the Dog whilst having a cheeky wee drink or two and it honestly just felt like a home from home!! The location is also fantastic - situated between the pleasure beach and the tower and you only have a 2 minute walk from the front door to the promenade!! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!!

I stayed with my boyfriend, on valentines weekend, and it was brilliant! This was my second stay in the arthington, and i cant say anything bad about it. Steve and Elaine really friendly, nothing is too much for them. They go out of their way to make you feel right at home! Breakfast is amazing, really worth dragging yourself out of bed for! When we went out for dinner, they were very helpful at directing us to the restaurant and anywhere else we needed to go. We also stayed in the hotel one night for dinner, where the food was tasty, and again anything we needed was never too much for them. We will definately be back at this hotel. I wouldn't go anywhere else if i was staying in Blackpool, The Arthington is perfect!
