Very good service and staff/owners very friendly and approachable. Hotel is in a nice location, quiet but convenient for all Blackpool's attractions.

A welcome atmosphere, as there really is nothing quite like coming back at the end of the day and relaxing in the cosy lounge.

we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights,we was very pleased with this hotel,its got everything we needed phil and teressa was brilliant and made you feel at home all the time,the breakfast was very nice and the dining room was well set out,,the bedroom was everything we wanted and clean and tidy and so was the shower room

phil and teressa even ordered take away for us and we all shared the dining room with us,

i will be going back to this hotel again this year for the lights ,as the location is just off the prom,an ideal spot for everything,ive recomended this hotel to a couple of people so far.

myself and my partner booked into an hotel called golden beach when we arrived it was absolutley sickenin...i begged my boyfriend to book us into a diffrent hotel. we turned up late on at night at the berkswell hotel, theresa and phillip where very welcoming, thy ordered us a take away and let us use the dining area to eat. it was very clean and homely, thy rang taxi's for us if we wanted to go anywhere thy checked train times for us, thy did absolutley all thy could do to make our stay perfect, the breakfast was gorgeous too. would defo stay there again and would defo recommend to anyone. thankyou!!! kat an scott xx

The berkswell is centred on withnell road great location 100 yard from the sandcastle and about 2 min walk to the pleasure beach.
We have stay here twice now first time was a spare of the moment and we really like are stay phill and teresa made the are nights stay great there nothing thet could not help us with.
We came back this time go through the lights my wife and children came down early on in the day,and i landed later that evening PHILL AND TERESA saved me some tea, Which was VERY NICE OF THEM TO DO SO, PHILL was great with my lad showing him magic tricks and the famous 6 nail trick.
The food was very nice fresh Phill & Teresa where very friendly and very helpfull with place to go, and things to do.

I arrived home after staying at the Berkswell Guest House only an hour ago. I have never before felt strongly enough to write a review for a holiday before but just felt I had to comment on my experience immediately.

This was my first holiday in Blackpool for 17 years and we had stayed at the Berkswell before when it was under prvious management. The booking experience was fantastic and I found both Phillip and Teresa to be friendly and welcoming.

On my arrival at the Guesthouse, Phillip had reserved a parking space for me at the rear which is covered by CCTV and our room was clean and comfortable. I understand it is to be redecorated shortly but I had no issues with the decor that exists. My daughter was kept entertained by Phillip over our 4 day stay and had me bamboozled by many of the tricks he showed us. The breakfast was fantastic and was thoroughly enjoyable. The bar area was welcoming and the drinks were cheap. We made full use of the family board games on offer and would often end up having extremley pleasant evenings with Phillip and Teresa who would go that extra mile to ensure that our stay was thoroughly enjoyable.

I noted the comment made by Wonky from South Derbyshire about this guesthouse and have to say that the guesthouse that he describes bore no resemblence to the one that I stayed in and I spoke with a number of other residents who without fail were all extremely impressed by the guest house and the hosts and in fact were repeat customers, as I too will be.

This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic value for money and I would recommend it for anyone. Service like this does not exist at anonymous and non descript hotel chains and Phillip and Teresa should feel rightly proud of the business they have established.

We have been staying at The Berkswell B&B for 3 years now and we have always been very pleased and fully enjoyed our stay. Teresa and Phillip are very friendly and helpful and always to the extra mile to make our stay more pleasureable. The drinks in the bar are very cheap and they also recommanded some lovely restaurants/shows for us to visit. Our room was very light and homely, and very good value.We will deffinatley be back again next year and will most likely stay longer than the 5 nights.
I recommend this B&B to anyone looking to stay in Blackpool.
