The Walkden House Hotel offers good clean accommodation with most rooms being en-suite. All rooms offer you a comfortable bed with crisp linen, soft fresh towels which are changed on a daily basis, soap and a fresh flannel in each room. Each room also has tea and coffee making facilities with biscuit's - all of which are replenished daily throughout your stay.
Room Information
We offer single, twin, double and family rooms. All rooms are en-suite and have tea/coffee making facilities plus freeview tv. Rooms are serviced daily. Room rates include a full English breakfast and special diets can be catered for (please mention when booking). Ironing board and hair dryers available upon request.
Disabled Facilities
There are 5 steps leading to the front door although we do have some ground floor rooms.
Children's Facilities
Please refer to the room description to establish the maximum number of people that can sleep in a room. Room rates are charged per room, rather than per person. If you would like a cot in the room or are bringing a young child with your own cot, please add this request in the Special Requirements section of the Booking Form. Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.
Guest Parking
There is on street parking just outside the hotel, otherwise there is the main central car park just 50 yards from the door.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas.

Food and Drink
Breakfast is serve from 8.45am till 9.30am. Earlier breakfast can be arranged in advance. Evening meals are generally served at 5pm although this can also be arranged at different times to suit guests itinerary's.
Hotel Policies
Check in times
Check in is from 2pm although this can be arranged earlier if rooms are available by prior arrangement with Chris and Julie. If guests arrive earlier and rooms are not available they can still deposit there luggage which will then be put into there rooms for when they return. Check out is by 11am. Luggage can be left till later when guests are ready to leave the resort.

Smoking Policy
The guest house is non smoking in all rooms. There is an outside seating area at the front of the guest house were guests can smoke.
