Blackpool Tower was built in 1894, with its inspiration taken from the Eiffel Tower in Paris built only 5 years before. The tower houses a circus, aquarium and the famous Victorian ballroom which is still used regularly today. The Funny Girls Show has been wowing audiences with its statuesque, high-kicking, showgirls and dazzling costumes since its debut in 1994. The centre’s goal is to act as a key sub-regional centre for environmental action and to deliver the national agenda on environmental sustainability. There’s a cafe on site and various educational displays explaining Blackpool’s relationship with environmentally friendly practices. Keep an eye out for the many rabbits that populate the grounds!

The Winter Gardens is located on the heart of Blackpool and is a unique venue, offering one of the largest theatre stages in the country, the Empress Ballroom home to the World's largest Dance Festivals and runs many other events and shows throughout the year. Aside from the main stage, there are a number of smaller rooms including the Spanish Hall, with its Andalucian Village lining the roof, the wood panelled Baronial Hall, perfect for Medieval Banquets.
