Blackpool Rides The Lights 2010
Tuesday 31st August 2010, Ride The Lights is back on in Blackpool! From 7pm - 10pm.
Ride The Lights for those that don't know is where the promenade from Star Gate in South Shore to Red Bank Road in Bispham is closed off for bikes only. 100's of bikers take part in this 3 hour event with all ages and speeds enjoying the freedom of the whole road.
On hand are 1st aiders, medics, marshalls, bike support trucks and vehicle recovery to make this a very well organised event.
Rules for riding are;
- 1 x white light
- 1 x rear light
- Helmet advised but not compulsary
- An adult must accompany all children
It's FREE to take part and charities are able to use the event as a fundraiser.
