Been staying for about 15 years now and hopefully will be staying there the next 15.
Breakfast is wonderful. Rooms are spotless. Hosts are very welcoming. Bar closes at a reasonable time so makes for a nice quiet break.
Very friendly and helpful owners/staff. Excellent all round. A potential problem caused by the expectation of our arrival one day later (see below) was resolved quickly, easily and with no fuss whatsoever. We would thoroughly recommend the Morrisy House Hotel.
There was apparently an error on the transmittal of data from "Need to get Away" to the Hotel. The Hotel were expecting us one day later than we had booked. However, this did not cause a problem as there was a spare room that first night anyway.

Very nice stay for two nights and excellent location.
Water in en-suite shower was hot for two minutes, only fault.

Lovely breakfast and all minor changes made with no issues and the owners were always happy to help.
Bathroom was tiny and only had a sliding door that was not flush so could be seen through.

Myself, husband and teeenage son were greeted by Gail, who had a lovely friendly manner on our arrival at the B & B. Both Gail and her husband were happy to take time to have a chat to you, and ask you about your day. Gail showed us to our en-suite room, which was extremely clean and comfortable for our 3 night stay (20th - 23rd July 2012). The breakfast was a choice of cereals and fruit juice, followed by a lovely English breakfast, complete with hot toast, tea & coffee. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Nothing negative to report.

The couple who ran the bed and breakfast were friendly, the place was clean and tidy and central to the the South Pier.Bedroom was quite spacious.
We were located on the very top floor of the hotel and we had a 3 year old which was quite a jaunt when you were going up and down a few times a day. My son wasnt given his own fried breakfast he just ad to have cornflakes or toast. He was offered a sausage to eat and when I asked for some bacon for him she said I will have a look to see if we have some!I had to split my breakfast for my son to eat and when the lady came over she acted shocked that I had done that, she never then said I will bring him some breakfast for you. It was a bit lame it looked as if they were working on a tight budget with the food but if thats so, the price per night was very high for the quality you received. There was no choice of cereal, just cornflakes provided on your table whether you liked them or not. There was no choice of breakfast whether you wanted beans or tomatoes or weather you liked scrambled egg or fried etc.. it was just bought out to your table. We were shocked at this due to the price we had to pay per night! Extra tea and coffee in your room could be purchased and a hairdryer could be requested for your room. It seemed it was too much trouble to have things already in the room. After our second day the shower unit started to smell from the plug hole, goodness knows what it would have smelt like after a few more days. Overall it was our sons birthday and we didnt rate the hotel very well and it did spoil it , especially when we checked some other hotels that were offering rooms for £25 a night. Oh well we live and learn1

As soon as we walked in we felt welcome and being in ur early 20's its very rare to feel welcome, gail and mark were lovely. The bedroom was excellent and it was situated in the best spot. We also got a secure parking space which was off the road and put our mind at ease . We will defintly be back soon. Thank you x
very friendly and would go back. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place to stay, the staff were very nice and extremely helpful. I would return again.
The rooms did not look like the ones advertise, but they were clean and comfortable.
Well worth the money for the two night stay, close to all the amenities and free parking!Lovely couple made us very welcome and they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Will defo book again at the morrisy. Thankyou
Only one small negative comment and that was that the room could have been cleaned and bed made on the second day of our stay.

Really nice and friendly, nice decor and great location for Pleasure Beach.
Would be nice if we had self serve choice of breakfast cereal. Hot breakfast was great.
Lovely, clean room and bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Morrisy house is in an ideal location. Even allowed me to leave my car on the carpark after we had checked out.
