Property Facilities
During the Darts World Championships every July we have keen 'darters' practising in the bar and at Brass Band time we have enjoyed our own band concerts whilst they are rehearsing. We have free Wi-Fi available in the reception and dining room areas and in some bedrooms.
Facilities include - 24-hour reception, Airport/Train/Bus pick-up service, Baggage store, Bar, Free Internet access (wireless and free desktop PC) in public areas, Ironing facilities, Lift, Wakeup call.
Room Information
To mark the 40year anniversary at the Alumhurst, there are 2 newly designed Retro 70's rooms. One has a super kingsized bed or the facility to be a twin room and the other has a double bed. Take a stroll down memory lane a see how a bedroom would have been in the 70's. Many nostalgic touches.
In addition, there are Premier Rooms with King size double beds and other luxury touches.
Finally the traditional single, double, twin and family rooms for 3 + 4 guests. (2 adults and up to 2 children - for any other combiation of guest in a family room adults / children please contact the hotel direct for prices)
Disabled Facilities
We have a hearing loop on reception. All relevant steps are marked and all floor areas kept clear for our visually challenged guests. In some bathrooms there are grab rails fitted to assist guests with problems using the toilet. The Alumhurst is unsuitable for wheelchair dependent guests.
Children's Facilities
Please refer to the room description to establish the maximum number of people that can sleep in a room. Room rates are charged per room, rather than per person. If you would like a cot in the room or are bringing a young child with your own cot , please add this request in the Special Requirements section of the Booking Form. Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.
Guest Parking
There are 5 free spaces on the hotel forecourt and one on the rear parking bay. In addition, there is on street parking and a number of car parks within a few minutes of the property.

In the business centre on ground floor and in some bedrooms.

The Alumhurst Dining Room is on the ground floor and it is light and airy. There are ceiling fans available used to keep guests cool in the warmer weather. Our staff are delighted to make sure you receive proper care and attention while dining and excellent choices from our menu are available for you to enjoy .
Breakfast is served from 8.30am to 9.45am and dinner is served from 5pm
